"The online format allows for flexible learning, interaction with students from afar, the understanding of on-line learning and its benefits (as this is certainly the wave of the future), the knowledge and compassion of the teachers and the institution as a whole."

"The most recognized and accepted type of accreditation in the United States is Regional Accreditation. Generally, college credits or degrees received at a Regionally Accredited institution are accepted by other Regionally Accredited colleges or universities (non-regionally accredited programs are not as accepted)."
-- Back2College.com
"Don't let the name mislead you - regional accreditation is the highest level of accreditation an online or brick-and-mortar institution can obtain, and is recognized throughout the country. Regional associations accredit mainly nonprofit, degree-granting institutions in specific geographic areas (Middle States, New England, North Central, Northwest, Southern, or Western)."
